Course Descriptions

  • Year 9 students will receive an introduction to higher CGSE topics in an efficient and detailed course that will set the students on a path to grades 8 and 9 in their GCSEs.
  • We will aim to cover around 40% of the GCSE Higher syllabus and we discuss exams type model questions and past paper questions for each topic. This will allow students to gain an understanding of the exam questions and familiarise themselves with the exam structure.
  • Group class are small with maximum of 10 students. They can ask questions during the lesson and individual attention will be paid to each student.
  • The course will continue as weekly 1.5 hours sessions during the term time form September.
  • Students will get tutor-marked tutorials each week in which questions will be included from previous topics that have already been completed. Difficult questions will be discussed in the next lesson. Students will get solutions to the tutorial as a PDF.
  • Every two months, students will get a test based on the topics they have covered. Students' progress and achievements will be discussed with parents.

Fees and Payments

  • First lesson free!  £35 per session (1.5 hours)
  • If students are happy to continue, they should make an advance payment for the calendar month in the first week of that month.
  • If a student wants to discontinue the lessons, the fees which were paid for the remainder of the month will be refunded.
  • Payment method will be detailed in an email at the enrolment and monthly invoices will be sent.
