Dharana Siriwarnage, the founder of MathsAlpha, brings over 25 years of teaching experience in Maths and Science. Dharana holds a Math degree and postgraduate qualifications in Mathematics, alongside a rich background in scientific research.
Dharana’s teaching career began in Sri Lanka, where he became a highly respected tutor for A-Level students. Over the years, he helped hundreds of students achieve top grades in Maths, guiding them to secure places at some of the most prestigious universities. His ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts, along with his patient and engaging teaching style, earned him a reputation as one of the best Math tutors in Sri Lanka. Dharana’s success as a tutor in Sri Lanka laid the foundation for his continued work in education.
In 2010, Dharana moved to the UK and transitioned his tutoring career to focus on GCSE and A-Level students. His teaching style, refined from his experience in Sri Lanka, continued to shine, making him a sought-after tutor in the UK as well. Dharana’s reputation grew quickly in the UK due to his clear, accessible teaching methods, and he soon became known for helping students achieve exceptional grades.
Throughout his career, Dharana has helped hundreds of students in both Sri Lanka and the UK achieve outstanding grades, with many of his students gaining acceptance to top universities such as Cambridge, Oxford, and the University of London.
