Course Descriptions

  • This is a well develop program to provide students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to achieve grades 8 and 9 for their GCSE maths.
  • For continuing students, remaining higher topics will be covered by mid-November in Year 11 (continuing students should have covered 80% of the higher topics at the end of Year 10).
  • New students enrolling from Year 11 will have an intense programme to cover important higher GCSE topics separately. They can join Year 10 lessons at a discounted rate (50% off) to cover the higher topics.
  • A well-developed revision programme will be starting from mid-November to support students for their mock exams in December / January.
  • From January, students will start preparing for their GCSE exam by doing past paper questions and model questions until mid-May.
  • Students will familiarise themselves with exam techniques, time management and marking structures.
  • Students will get weekly revision tutorials and challenging questions will be discussed in the next lesson. Solutions to the tutorial will be given as a pdf.

Fees and Payments

  • First lesson free!  £35 per session (1.5 hours)
  • If students are happy to continue, they should make an advance payment for the calendar month in the first week of that month.
  • If a student wants to discontinue the lessons, the fees which were paid for the remainder of the month will be refunded.
  • Payment method will be detailed in an email at the enrolment and monthly invoices will be sent.

    • 4.2. Solving equations using recurrence relations (iteration methods)
